Bob Marley - Live at the Rainbow, 1977 [Album Review]
Bob Marley performed and recorded at the Rainbow Theater in Finsbury Park, London, England in June of 1997 and in this episode Ringer and Jesse are reviewing the album as part of the live music series. Each song is individually reviewed and at the end Ringer and Jesse give their "6-string rating."
In the week in music segment, the guys talk about Bonnaroo officially nixing the festival this year and if they plan on going next year.
This album is supercharged with emotion that spills over from the live show and into your ears. This album is well mixed for a live show, each instrument gets its time to shine. At times there are lulls that sometimes happen at live shows to give the crowd a chance to collect themselves but overall this is a good live album.
Live at the Rainbow, 1977 by Bob Marley album rating (out of 6 strings)
J-Man: 4/6 Strings
Ringer: 4b/6 Strings
