Glass Animals - Dreamland [Album Review]
Ringer and J-Man do a track by track analysis of Glass Animal's 2020 album, Dreamland. A full shift into the world of pop music, Dreamland is loaded with nostalgia (at least for those who grew up in the 80s, 90s and a hair in the early 2000s). Even if you don't get all the references to Dunkaroos, Push Pops, and Pokemon, there's still plenty be enjoy about this album.
In the week in music segment, Jesse introduces us to his Old Fashioned Recipe, the Buffalo Old-Fuzzioned, named after the heavy blues rock band Buffalo Fuzz, they celebrate Robert Plant's birthday and the Rolling Stone Magazine's new article discussing the 50th anniversary of The Beatles breakup.
Dreamland is packed full of nostalgic vibes and features some pretty good tunes from Glass Animals. It does fall short at times but still an above average album.
Dreamland by Glass Animals album rating (out of 6 strings)
