Mdou Moctar - Afrique Victime [Album Review]
This week Ringer and J-Man breakdown Mdou Moctar's album Afrique Victime. Mdou Moctar is a breakout star from the Saharan Rock genre popular in Africa. His style of guitar playing blends African influences and styles with hints of western blues music; together they make for one hell of a combination and make this record a fun one to listen to.
This is a nice piece of working coming from the up and coming Saharan Rock genre. Mdou does a great job crafting and displaying his signature sound while writing some great songs.
